O n a warm summer day in , Lissa Yellow-bird Chase packed her vehicle with sunscreen, iPads, spiritual items and water. With fishing sonar equipment and a dilapidated old boat, she had nothing to go by but her instincts. It was here, in the deep blue lake, that she and volunteers from her group the Sahnish Scouts of North Dakota , found the body of Olivia Lonebear. The year-old and mother of five had last been seen in New Town, a small oil-boom city on the edge of Fort Berthold Reservation, nine months prior.
